Keren Shemesh, in collaboration with the Beit Shemesh Municipality and the Ministry of Labor, established the Employment Authority for the purpose of empowering the city residents and strengthening the city’s economy. We aim to connect residents to quality employment opportunities, to help integrate diverse populations in the labor market, and create a prospering employment space for all residents of Beit Shemesh.

The Authority operates a variety of designated programs, including assisting Haredi [ultra-Orthodox] men integrate into the job market, supporting English-speaking olim [immigrants], and creating a state-of-the-art portal for job listings. The investment in this project exceeds NIS 1 million a year.
