Together with its partners, Keren Shemesh offers a blanket of holistic support for the city’s children with scarce resources at their disposal.
We believe that investing in children’s basic welfare is a necessary condition for their success in their studies and their personal growth. By personal, tailored mentoring and a range of group activities, we are cultivating a solid young generation with community leadership capabilities. In the framework of Adopt a Child, every year, we provide for the basic needs of 215 children and their families, including assistance with parental payments for class trips and other school perks, purchasing food, and various learning needs.

Together with Youth Futures, we create an emotionally supportive environment in order to enable children who lack such an environment to cope with emotional and social challenges. By individual supervision, group activities, and strengthening the family connection, we help children build emotional resilience, develop self-confidence, and realize their untapped potential.
