Every child deserves an equal opportunity to develop cognitive skills, creativity and innovativeness. STEM studies make the worlds of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics accessible to all children from the entire population of the city. With 8 STEM centers established in the city with the help of the Shemesh Foundation, another 20 are needed to provide children with the best tools for success in the world of science and technology.

Establishing a cutting-edge STEM school-based center requires an investment of approx. NIS 200,000, which covers planning and design, furniture, and the latest learning and technological equipment. Routine maintenance, materials and teacher training are estimated at NIS 40,000 per year for each campus. We will continue building these centers, training skilled teaching teams,  and providing a welcoming venue for every child seeking to research and investigate, discover and create.

This investment will help to raise a generation of scientists, engineers and inventors – a generation that will connect Beit Shemesh to the success of the State of Israel as a technological-scientific superpower.
