About
Beit Shemesh Foundation – Changing the future. Together.
Vision
We work to promote and develop Beit Shemesh as a flourishing and prospering city, leading standards for quality of living, and a beacon of unity among the different parts of the people.
About
Shemesh Foundation is an engine for social change in Beit Shemesh. The foundation has been operating since 2005 to improve the quality of life and strengthen the social cohesion in the city of over 180,000 residents. We raise funds and implement projects in the fields of education, welfare, employment, culture, and sport, in collaboration with the Beit Shemesh Municipality and the government of Israel, the local community and business and social partners.
The foundation engages partners and investors from Israel and around the world. In its work, the foundation promotes growth, independence, resilience, and expansion of diverse opportunities for the residents of Beit Shemesh.
What we do
Education and youth empowerment: Cultivating Israel’s young generation for the future through innovative learning programs and sophisticated learning environments. We provide equal opportunities for every resident, with concern for the welfare of disempowered populations.
Employment: Developing human capital and helping residents find quality and fulfilling jobs.
Health and welfare: Prioritizing the health of the city’s residents and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Culture and sports: Building a vibrant and diverse community, with a wide range of activities for all ages.
